What is

Allyship?

Allyship:

  • a lifelong process of building relationships based on trust, consistency, and accountability with marginalized individuals and/or groups of people.

  • not self-defined—work and efforts must be recognized by those you are seeking to ally with.

  • an opportunity to grow and learn about ourselves, whilst building confidence in others.

What is Activism?

"Activism is quite simply taking action to effect social change; this can occur in a myriad of ways and in a variety of forms. Often it is concerned with ‘how to change the world’ through social, political, economic or environmental change. This can be led by individuals but is often done collectively through social movements."
